I just bought a GIANT! As I had planned all year to buy one I decided to use Christmas as an excuse to treat myself to a top shelf bike! I bought the type pictured above the Escape R3, which was the most practical for my multiple uses. I primarily use a bicycle for local transportation around town and sometimes for shopping, but also for exercise. This bike is so light and fast. Unbelievably fast!

As many of you probably know we don't own a car and I haven't owned one for all the time I've been in Japan, which would be since Sept. 1995. Now I continue to have the greenest wheels around and my new wheels are in fact dark green!
